The West Michigan Mountain Bike Alliance is very excited to, yet again, be part of the Meijer State games!
This will be the chapters fourth year for this event! It is also a part of the MMBA CPS (championship point series). We’ve added a new Fat Bike category this year and also new this year, the race will be a time trial.
All proceeds will go to the WMMBA 50 in 5 trail building fund. So, come join us for a day of fun and racing!

Onsite Registration begins 1 hour prior to each wave
Youth – 5 miles
Beginner – 10 miles

Elite/Pro – 25 miles
Food & Drinks: You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to the event. Gatorade will be available for participants near the finish line. You are responsible for all other liquid or nutritional needs.
Parking: Please park in the parking lot, not across the bridge
Rest Room Facilities: The Cannonsburg restroom facilities will be open for use.
Mandatory: Helmet to compete & Mountain Bike w/stopping brakes!
Number Plate: Must be attached to the front of your bicycle using the tie wraps given
Timing Chip: Must be worn on your left ankle and you are responsible toreturn the chip immediately after the race or a charge of $35 will be issued to you.
Weather Related Issues: The race will take place rain or shine. If severe weather occurs (thunderstorms/lightening) the race will be delayed until the conditions improve or the race is cancelled.

Really, who wants to sit inside talking about riding? Spring is finally here so…let’s ride!
Come out to the Merrell trail head, get a couple loops in, then hang out afterwards with your riding buddies!
We’ll have burgers & brat’s starting about 7:30pm, we’ll tell you about some of the great things the chapter has coming up this summer…
… Plus, Velocity will be giving away a set of Blunt 35s, black, 29er, 32H rims as a door prize!
Also, Central District Cycle will be giving away two disc brake service packages! Cool!
So, bring your bike, your buddies, your favorite beverages, something to sit on and (if you like) your favorite dish for sharing (not required, but welcomed)!
It’s going to be a great evening so, spread the word…see you there!

First off, we are releasing our brand new WMMBA jersey! We will be doing sizing for jerseys and taking pre-orders for jerseys starting at 6:30PM. It would be best to get there early to have the opportunity to get fitted for your jersey before the meeting. Regular jersey price will be $75, pre-sale price will be $65! Order early and save $10! We will also have The new WMMBA tuke available!
Also, this month, just in time for the spring riding season and as you get ready for race season, we will have guest speaker Dr. Jason Ross D.C. ART C.S.C.S. Jason is a Doctor of Chiropractic and Strength and Conditioning Coach from Train Out Pain Chiropractic. Jason was official Chiropractor for the U.S. bobsled team and the official chiropractor for the 2010 Olympics. He has trained and treated a variety of athletes from recreational to professional.
Jason will be sharing training tips and sharing the Active Release Technique to help you maximize your training and reduce pain and injuries.
Plus, all those folks who helped the WMMBA and the MMBA last year will have their FAFL shirts available.
