We’ve had a really big year. From the GR Bike Park’s first phase to the start of The Dragon, we’ve raised the bar at what we take on at WMMBA. It’s for a good reason; our mountain bike community is growing.
It’s not just about volume, either. Mountain bikers have an ever-expanding appetite for different and diverse trail experiences. One of our goals is to provide options that cater to new ways of riding. From singletrack to bike parks, bikepacking routes to linking trail system to trail system to trail system, we want to connect riders with trails that offer novelty, adventure, and options.
No doubt your newsfeed as been chock-full of invitations to donate to any number on non-profits. Giving Tuesday started in 2012 as a global effort to redirect the consumption of Black Friday to causes big and small that do good. Today, hundreds of thousands of people donate to millions of dollars to thousands of organizations that run the full gambit of giving; from food shelters to foster homes, academic support groups to social workers. Trail associations, too, take center stage, and we’re always incredibly thankful to be a go-to non-profit on a day with so many worthy causes.
This Giving Tuesday, consider helping us grow these trails and our community by making a donation. The money stays right here in west Michigan, going directly to our trails and our community. These donations help us fuel, maintain, and purchase equipment, groom winter trails, support events and meetings, and power the organization each and every day.
We want you to be a part of this mission. It’s a great chance to join West Michigan Mountain Bike Alliance for access to great member discounts, news and updates in your inbox, and the satisfaction of knowing that you’re a part of what makes mountain biking possible in the region. You can make a donation today, and make sure you’re an Ally here. Together, we’re going to continue to grow our region into an even bigger mountain bike mecca and the crown jewel of the Midwest!
