August Update

Good things are happening.

Our board is feeling energized after last nights meeting, and we finally got some photos of two of our newest board members, Bob Lett Jr. and Timmie Thompson. We expect them to be integral in helping us accomplish big things! Say hi if you see them on your favorite trail. In some other exciting news:

Board leadership is shifting, Matt Schmuker stepping into the role of President and Joel Haitz to Vice President. Carly Gizinski currently in the role of Treasurer, accomplishing tons of budgetary tasks to set WMMBA up for success in completing long-term goals. We are still setting up committee structures, and will be reaching out to applicants soon (thanks for your patience).

Pamela Collins has accepted the role of Trail Coordinator at Luton Park, and Brad Streu moving to TC of Cannonsburg State Game Area.

In big trail news, Manhattan Park is front page. TrailSense will break ground in about 2 weeks and is expected to be completed before winter. Roughly 3 more miles being added to West Michigan's ever-growing roster.
