“But Mouse, you are not alone,
In proving foresight may be vain:
The best-laid schemes of mice and men
Go oft awry,
And leave us nothing but grief and pain,
For promised joy!”

Also known as the Winter motto of those of us who love riding groomed fatbike trails in West Michigan. But I’ll be darned if that means we aren’t going to try. So with much anticipation, here are the plans for fatbiking all across West Michigan, as provided by WMMBA and in coordination with MEMBA.

There are also a few trails/options that are still in the discussion and planning phases for this winter yet. We MIGHT have some options to add to our list so stay tuned for those. Otherwise, if you have something to add to our list, or questions, just email us at briand@wmmba.org.

And just to reiterate one more time, this is Winter in West Michigan. Conditions will change as quickly as the weather and all of our plans are snow and weather dependent. Please respect our groomers and our volunteers and watch the trail conditions pages to see if a trail is ridable or not.

Thanks, and #prayforsnow.
